The latest HSBC scandal...

Post by Pulsar_t »

So what is the best, and seemingly only feasible solution to this form of rampant crony capitalism?

The only thing surprising about this is the fact that anyone is surprised.

@OP, it would be helpful if you posted a synopsis of the issue instead of assuming that people watch/read news and know the latest stuff.

Apparently the issue is that HSBC was laundering Mexican drug cash.

Hmm, so that's why I got the 0% interest for 2 years on my recent furniture purchase from Jordan Furniture which was the first and only time I ever used HSBC.

The issue I had with HSBC was their crappy website for managing payments.

What bugs me is that why wrongdoing bankers (aka wankers) are exempt from doing time? When scum become above the law you can kiss your checks and balances good-bye.

I don't get your analogy.. but here's more evidence that banks are little more than legalised mafias http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18930191

I mean these scandals certainly outstrip any events of the past decade, but it's all hush-hush over at the lamestream scum.

You do realize that regardless of the content of what you say, by using the phrase "lamestream" you immediately lose all credibility.

Fuck credibility, who cares about that with shit hitting the fan so obtusely? And yes it's lamestream with the sole purpose of obfuscating matters to serve vested interests. You don't need a PR degree to realise that, but it helps if you have one
