Debating whether to play my Tales of the Abyss undub DVD-R right now... I started playing FFVIII, but my goal of getting the Lionheart on disc 1 again is making me not want to play, haha. Or perhaps I should continue with FFVIII without such annoying goals.

It's such an easy game. Don't bother with silly goals like that.

Tales of Symphonia is giving me a similar problem. Story seems like it's going somewhere, but after ten hours I'm bored to death with the gameplay.

Tales of Xillia is Coming to the US

After having to wait years before we got Tales of Graces f they are finally starting to release Tales of Xillia to the west. I loved Graces and from what I read Xillia is even better. Though it will be in 2013, doesn't mean we aren't happy for it.
Tales of Graces f is a really good JRPG I really enjoyed it and I can't wait for Xillia. It has great characters, battle system, and story. This generation has been hit or miss for me with JRPG's and the Tales series continues to be a very strong. 8)

Tales of Graces f had a great story? Must have missed it. I thought it was pretty awful and too long. But the battle system was fantastic!!

I remember it took forever for the game to actually click with me in terms of story.

Tales of Symphonia took me a while to get into. It was also my first Tales game. I played it then stopped after a while because I started to get a bit bored with it. It wasn't until
The group not only finds out about Tethe'alla but go there is when the game started to get really good as you start finding out the secrets to the world.
Tales of Graces f I thought had a pretty good story with the twist when you find out who Sophie is. I haven't beaten it but I know what happens at the end (I was up to the last boss) so far I think it's a really good story. Not on par with Symphonia or Abyss but still a good Tales game.

It looks like it was ported straight from the Super Famicom version.

Played Tales of Symphonia non-stop for 5 days because I wanted to beat it, ended up quitting the game when I finished it because it didn't occour to me that I might not be able to continue my save in order to finish the side quests.
