I remember one of my early dates (around 20) when this date got into my car and I commented "Did you have spaghetti for dinner?" because there was a tomato/basil smell to her. I think she said "No, why?" Needless to say, we didn't have another date. Yeah, I goofed but that's ok because there were plenty of other potential dates out there.

That is a peeve of mine. Women who remove their eyebrows to put on a fake pencil one...like Tammy Faye Baker from the 80s. I think she was one of most extremes of any women when it came to makeup.

I'll just say this much. A woman knows how to use perfume and make up effectively. A girl doesn't.

I always imagined her either dunking her head in a vat of acid each night to remove it all, or Jim breaking out the jackhammer. I imagine her makeup funds were larger than the GNP of some smaller less industrialized nations.

You mean a girl is someone who applies these things poorly? Or a girl is someone who never put the time and effort into properly learning how? Just asking, no reason...

On the eyebrow topic, when I was in high school it was all the rage to have your eyebrows waxed if you were a lady. Not removed completely, but "neatened up," I guess. And not just for prom. It was definitely one of the weirdest forms of peer pressure I ever experienced.

I think he's saying that until you can put on perfume responsibly, you're still a girl. In which case I know a lot of girls over the age of 50.

I know you're not from Somalia, but god damn I hate the way somalian women (the older ones with the big black Burqas) smell. I wonder if it's some oil or scent they use or the spices the use in food or what?
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

I still don't get it, perfume was made to give a better aroma...really this is the only time I have heard people complain of perfumes.

There are only 3 things I can think of :

1) Some perfumes has a sharp smell especially when they are freshly sprayed, causing people to sneeze. Once it cools off in 2-3 min, it should be fine.

2) Cheap perfumes smell bad, really bad,. These usually have good smell when first bought but after sometime I think they expire or something

3) Some people just have a negative reaction to some perfumes including me. Some perfumes presses the wrong buttons in me. I noticed this with other people, due to different taste people will like or hate different types of smell.

those are the only reasons I can think of

Somalia is another continent , and from a different race. We are pretty much different... I can be wrong, but I think I know what you are talking about

Nowadays, it seems that "threading" is used to shapen eyebrows. Not sure what the advantage of one versus the other or why couldn't a tweezer be used?

While on the subject of hair, I tend to notice those people who don't trim their nose/ear hairs. Yech.

The sad thing is that as you get older, those hairs seem to grow thicker/faster than your head hair.
