i think the only really important question that could very easily be answered is how in the hell did this guy obtain the weapons/gear/materials used for all of this in such an alleged short amount of time? that is a LOT of stuff and there are real costs associated with it. i'm not saying it's impossible that he bought it himself but i'd like to know exactly HOW he came up with the money for it. that's the only real question i have, and i think that's a perfectly reasonable question that has a rational, easily obtainable answer.

The only decent points the article has are, where the hell did he get this stuff (he probably just bought it with student loans), where did the learn to rig complex explosives, and why did he peacefully surrender and admit his apartment was rigged. Other than that to me it's just typical fear mongering false flag accusations. If the government wanted to abolish our rights to own firearms that bad I'm pretty sure they'd be able to come up with a better scheme than dressing some guy up as the joker and killing a dozen people watching a batman movie.
