Rendering Ranger R2 issue

Post by Gooseberrysoda »

So I region-modded my SNES, but my copy of Rendering Ranger R2 won't play- it's super clean and everything, and I don't have any other imported titles with which I can test my SNES. Is there anything else I can do?

Is it a real copy of RR? The US SNES and SFami are the same inside. Are you sure you got enough of the tabs removed so it is plugging all the way in?

If you're unsure and you don't want to cut anymore, if you don't have the security bit adapter for SNES screws you could do the bic pen trick and simply open up your whole system and plug it in that way to be sure you get a good connection.
Though, I don't know anyone who didn't ever cut/break enough of their tabs off that they couldn't play an import. Could be the cart...

Even if it may look super clean, just clean the cartridge, anyway.
