My daughter plays the flute in school and I'm always getting on her case about practicing which she doesn't do. So it's out of the ordinary when I hear her practicing some music. I look at the sheet music and was surprised to see that it's "Legend of Zelda". I asked her where she got it and she said that it from her flute teacher from school (a woman in her early 30s). Apparently her teacher loves the Zelda video games.

Wow. Interesting.

So I asked her some more questions to find out how her teacher know that she liked video games. Apparently my daughter found some "Super Mario Bros" flute music online and brought it to her class. Her teacher made copies to give to the other flutists as well as the Zelda music.

Neat.

:D : Got the job at Walmart. Goodbye restaurant!

:( : I'm gonna have two jobs for two weeks. I can't leave my old job immediately, so I'm gonna be working a few 16-hour days.

What do you mean you can't leave immediately?

Two week notice policy.

Plus, it is never a good idea to have a job on a resume where you straight up quit and leave.

Is this just for the summer? I forget how old you are. *sigh* I've been there. Stay strong man! I juggled a couple jobs back in my teens. I assumed the reigns of barista by morning, and greenhouse caretaker by evening. On weekends I was hussling tables and planting shrubs. :) Gotta have $$$ for games!

I've discovered the best way to progress in Ultima II is to continuously murder a helpless townie of the "thief" type, since he sits alone at the entrance, far from the guards. And since he's a thief he can drop a decent chunk of gold and all of the important items so I have backups in case another thief steals from me. Unfortunately, the decent chunk of gold is still a small amount compared to the amount I need to get my stats up and the armor I need, so I'm ticked off at all the grindy drugery I need to go through.

Frown: Idiot drivers.

So I went out for dinner and I stopped to check my mail as I came home. Rounding one corner on the inside the parking lot an idiot in a lifted Jeep is cutting the corner from the outside so I had to stop and wait for his sorry ass since he was in my lane. The very next corner, where I'm on the inside again, dumbass teenage looking girl with a carload does the same fucking thing, but has the gall to fucking honk at me. Yes, I'm paying attention and saw your headlights so I stopped for you too, but really? You're in my fucking lane. I threw up my hands and mouthed WTF while she stared at me with a slack jawed herp-a-derp look on her face as she passed. :x

Smile: Dinner was good and I was paying attention so no fender benders from the short cutting idiots?
