All of my girlfriends have worn little to no makeup as a daily routine. Sure there aren't many that never wear any, ever. But those who pile it on all day every day turn me off. I guess I'm weird that I like women to have eyebrows too, not penciled on lines. *shrug*
Hey I hear you,my woman barely wears make up..none of that draw on stuff.

But for someone to call makeup a "lie" ehhhh thats pushing it. Some women just like to look pretty, and likehow they look with it on.

And screw it, 99% of the time with a little makeup they do look better, so I don't mind. As long as it doesn't on my shirt.
My last girlfriend only used makeup for special occasions, like if we were dressing up to go to the theater she'd put on some eyeliner and lip coloring. But day to day she used nothing more than clear chapstick.

I've dated all type..

1.My first girlfriend was the "take an hour every morning to put on makeup" Sure she looked gorgeous, but it got old quick

2. A girl I dated would just walk out the door with no make up, sure it was nice just being able to leave, but she was also the jeans and t shirt type even if we were going somewhere nice.

3. The girl I'm with now...wears jeans and a tshirt or tank top normally, with barely any make up..but I took her somewhere nice, and my god she knew exactly how to do her make up to look perfect.

It's all on what a guy wants I guess..I just need that happy medium...normal girl when she wants, but knows how to clean up

Said it before, and I'll say it again:

Nothing like waking up to a woman who looks as beautiful as she did the night before.

And that's not because of my morning wood.

I can agree with that.

I dated a girl who thought morning wood was a ploy to initiate morning sex, rather than a natural thing.

My wife still doubts that it is natural. Partly my fault as I've fed her a few lies that she caught onto. "No seriously, Men's Health had an article that said if you sucked on my balls before sex it stimulates the sperm leading to a higher sperm count".

This thread has taken some weird turns... I like to believe that there are several women out there that very rarely use make-up - if at all. Maybe it is particularly rare in the U.S. given some statements in the thread, but then again there were already others commenting that it isn't so unusual.

About morning erections, as far as I know they are related with urinating - possibly to keep men from urinating while sleeping. Which I guess can be a bit annoying because then you wake up, want to do it and it is harder (but think of the alternative - seems like a fair trade-off).

It should not be that hard to convince someone that it is natural, because it is true!

A reserve to flush out when cleaning afterwards. I thought it had something to do with a sleepiness affect. The relaxed state caused something with blood flow down there. Ever ride a bus early in the morning after being up all night? Hard to stand up when your stop arrives.

This thread is pretty amusing. :D

I only wish people would use common sense and leave off the perfume/cologne when going out to eat. Nothing can kill my dining experience quite like a group of heavily-scented people sitting down at the next table over.

As for makeup, I don't wear any. I used to use concealer and powder in my early teens but gave up on it, and I haven't put product in my hair since then either. I admire the skill that goes into getting done up that way, but I also wish people would just appreciate their natural nuances more and stop trying to iron them all out. It's way more interesting and endearing to see that someone's hair flips under on one side of their face but out on the other than it is to deduce that they spent an hour with a hair straightener that morning -- at least in my opinion.

Agree on almost all counts.

The only exception is I don't admire the skill that goes into make-up, unless we are talking about the real professional ones that usually work in the film industry and can really pull off some amazing stuff (but often after hours - but the actors get paid well enough to "suffer" through that).

I think we are basically done on make-up and perfume talk though. Now to take this thread into the next logical step, I think we should all discuss about shaving (and other methods, for simplicity I just use the verb shave) in both genders (I propose discussions on armpits, chest, face, legs and neck).

My opinion is, personally whatever suits your fancy so that if you want to shave (e.g. your chest) go ahead.
I strongly oppose the societal pressure - particularly on women - to shave armpits, facial hair (e.g. eyebrows) and legs, as well as some pressure for men to have either "properly" shaved faces (i.e. every day) or certain more accepted styles of facial hair.

But maybe I'm too "North Europe" minded in this :P Other people thoughts?
