Nothing you haven't seen a million times before. Some of the lines are cringe-worthy, but the film isn't terrible. Luc Besson wrote the screenplay, but he's no longer the entertainer that he once was.

I was hoping for a lot more awful awesomeness, but it didn't deliver. It was too hit and miss for me, and if it was as if the movie wasn't quite sure what it wanted to be.
Watched SLAP SHOT again, with my parents tonight. It has to be one of the top three sports themed movies ever. The writing is out of this world.
Hello, my name is Kal-El. I'm Kryptonian, and was sent here from my home planet of Krypton right before it blew up. All I have from my heritage and my homeworld is some awesome computer-crystals, and the blankets that my mother wrapped me in as a child. The Kryptonian makeup of these blankets make them nigh impervious to anything on planet Earth so I could totally use them as a costume when I fly around as Superman. But instead of using these, I'm just gonna make a suit out of used basketballs and tires.

The bootleg shitty camera phone video I just saw of people watching a teaser for Man of Steel had a positive reception towards it.

moral of story: when in a shady part of town, don't ask random thugs where the sega is at.
Also recently procured the three-disc Criterion Collection edition of Brazil, as well as Dark City, The City of Lost Children, and a small stack of other DVDs.
