And that, boys and girls, is why you always need to open the case, even if it's got tape around it.GamerMON wrote:Half Price books

(Of course, you put the tape back if you decide you don't want that particular game. It's just good gamer etiquette.)

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
hit up some thrift stores.
Went to Salvation Army, got a (dirty) SNES mini with 3 controlers, radioshack rf cable, no electric plug. But it did come with four games: Starfox, World Heroes, Mortal Kombat and Art Of Fighting. All for 15 bucks.
Needs a little TLC but I'm confident it will work.
For $5.00 at the same place I got an even more beat up NES toploader. lets hope a good cleaning will help. It also came with 3 controlers and one of them was a dogbone controler. No RF and electric plug on this one. But for the price, I'll risk it.
At another thrift store, a local one. I got some LP records (check the yes we can have nice things thread). But for the most part I got some atari stuff.
Two atari 2600 controlers for $2.00
Eight 2600 games for $5.00. They were bundled together (with clear masking tape
) so I took a risk. The topmost game got messed up with the tape
I had to cut it with scissors to keep the rest from peeling away.
the games are Ms. Pacman, Battlezone, Donkey Kong JR., Atlantis, Phoenix, Asteroids, Sears Telegames Target fun, and a mystery game that lost all of its labels.
No pics today, too lazy

Pretty good day for games.
One of the local play n' trades got some new stuff:
Outtrigger - 4.50
Steel Empire - 2.50
Adventure Island - 4
Made a small craigslist buy:
Castlevania Bloodlines (CIB, paper majesco box)
Bomberman 64: The Second Attack
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (PS2, missing manual)
Paid $60 for all three games.
And a friend gave me a Master system he dug out of storage, no cables or anything, just a dirty untested unit. Free.
