I thought it was, but the problem is that people tend to say 'more oftener' which is grammatically incorrect.

Yeah, that's how I usually heard it as a kid, so it made me think the word was wrong too. Haven't really heard anyone say it since I was a kid, and that vehicle was even older being from the 60s. I think the word has fallen out of fashion.

Random story:
So the other day on ebay I found a CIB game that I was interested in, the seller had the "best offer" option on his listing. I sent an offer for $10 less than what they were asking (never hurts to try, right?) Needless to say, they declined it without explanation. Then I sent an offer for $4 or $5 (can't remember exactly) less than what they were asking, they declined it with a message saying they know I'm not asking much less than their BIN price, but they sell cart only copies for a certain price in their physical store so they had no incentive to lower the price until they're overstocked or something.
Which brings me to this: What's the point in putting the "best offer" option on your listing if your price is basically firm?
Anyway, I sat there that night and the next day, debating whether or not I should buy the game since it was after all the cheapest CIB copy listed at the time and someone else could snatch it up. I decided to hold off. Then the next night, lo and behold, they put the game on sale, for only 99 cents more than I offered the second time. So I bought that shit.
The end.

That's ludicrously restrictive. I would've gone over that 19 times over yesterday alone.

On another note.
How do any of you have time for your retro game collections with full-time jobs? Since getting mine, I feel like I wont be able to play even a quarter of the ones I had originally planned to.
