Just Received an Invitation for Wii U Experience

Post by Jamisonia »

Apparently Club Nintendo members that live near the cities where the events are happening are getting invited to a hands on demonstration of the Wii U.

Here's the link

nintendo.dwinq.com/pre-register.html

In addition to my code Nintendo gave me three additional invite codes for friends and family, so if anybody resides in the DC area and wants to go with me Saturday July 28 from 3p-5p PM me.

Jealousy = growing.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

The domain seems shady. Why isn't it nintendo.com?

Jealousy = fading. MrPopo is obviously more sober than I am.

I'm pretty sure its legit. The e-mail and domain display actual legit Nintendo copyrighted symbols. The e-mail displays the legit Club Nintendo symbol as well as many other things that make it seem legit.

Here's a source that confirms its legit

They've already done one in NYC.

I went to the Wii U Experience yesterday. It was pretty awesome. I got to play New Super Mario Bros U, ZombiU, and Arkham City. I'm extremely excited for ZombiU. The controls felt great, and I really loved the inventory system that the new controller made possible.

So no issues with the controller? Or the motion controls? Those two things scare me the most about the system.

Congrats on going! I went to the Southern California show next to the Comic Con and had a blast. Tons of freebies including Kirby poster, Mario TShirt and even a Lego kit. One thing I really liked about the Wii U is a return to traditional controls in a lot of the games. Quite a few even play with a sideways Remote NES style. Did you get to try the 3DSXL? More details, pictures and reviews please, I'm curious on other games that did not make it to the West Coast show.

I posted a review of the Wii U and various Wii U games in my Wii Thread.
