Noise: I have a spare Saturn console that I rescued from a trash pile about a month ago. If the one you have doesn't work, send me a PM. I will test my extra console and - if it works - send it to for the cost of shipping.

Anyway...since my wife and kids are out of town, I went pawn shopping this morning. I picked up:

Exodus: Journey to the Promised Land (GB) - $2.50
Turrican (GB) - $2.50
Williams' Arcade Greatest Hits (PS1) - $2.00
Futurama (XBOX) - $2.50
Godzilla: Save the Earth (XBOX)- $2.50
Halo 2: Collector's Edition (XBOX) - $2.50
Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary (XBOX) - $2.50
Sega GT 2002 (XBOX) - $2.00
Statr Wars: Battlefront (XBOX) - $2.50

Per the "rules" of my collection, all of the PS1 and XBOX games are complete, and I am very happy to add all of these titles for grand total of $21.50. (Also, I know that Sega GT 2002 is above market price, but I have never encountered a stand-alone copy of Sega GT 2002 in the wild before. Whenever I find that game, it is always part of the Sega GT/JSRF combo pack. Since I have a stand-alone copy of JSRF, I am happy to add the other half of the comination to my collection.)

I also hit GameStop's "Buy 2, Get 1" sale. I picked up

de Blob (Wii), The Munchables (Wii), Samurai Shodown Anthology (Wii), and SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 (Wii)

for $30.

Finally, I grabbed a DVD copy of Pink Floy's "The Wall" for $2.00, and I grabbed my daughter (and I) a two-disc DVD copy of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" for $1.00.

Overall, I was very pleased with today's finds.

Which sticker was inside? I also picked up this game!

Wii The Munchables - $4.49 Gamestop
Never heard of this, had to snag it though. So weird a game, I'll post a full review later on. Same developer made the Katamari series, has crazy quirky music in it. CIB including a sticker inside. I found a second copy at a far away Gamestop, the employee let me have the sticker which is different. The 1st sticker is a mushroom character, the second a tree. This is like trying to get all the toy collection in cereal boxes, I wonder how many different stickers there are? :?

Resident Evil 4 - $17.99 Gamestop
Held off on the Gamecube version since I already own the PS2 version with the extra features. Now have the extra stuff plus a "House of the Dead" instant aim with the Wii Remote. Also supports a Classic Controller which means I can still play this game with a Dual Shock. 8)

Super Mario Galaxy - $13.50 mjmjr25 bundle sale
Brand new shrunk wrapped. I don't mind that its a Nintendo selects, might even have bug fixes or extras thats not in the 1st edition. Great Price!

Excitabots Trick Racing - $7.19 Gamestop
Nice driving game with really crazy jumps, almost a free flight to fly over part of the track.

PS2 Serious Sam - 0.89¢ Gamestop
Already have a copy, but at less then a buck good to have an extra. Amazed that this was on the rack CIB, recently placed there too. The sticker has a date of 06/21/12. Serious Sam is not an in depth FPS, but a great ride for maddening everything coming at you Arcade style. :D

DS Pokemon Diamond - Found in son's drawer
Okay a previous purchase, son sold all his DS stuff back to Gamestop ages ago. The significance of this find? There is an unused redemption pin inside as well as well as the getting hard to find poster. In a couple of days on July 1st, Club Nintendo has dropped the redemption coin value on most older games, however some Pokemon games have gone up!

$4 even if it doesnt work its a great deal you could always salvage something out of it

thanks dude. I plugged my Dreamcast AC adapter into it and can see it powers on and spins the disc. So probably ok. Just need hookups and all now.

I had the We Ski promotional insert and maunal...but, alas, no sticker. I guess that my copy is slightly incomplete. Oh well, it is complete enough for my collection.

I have heard that it is a lot like Katamari Damacy, and I am going to try to play through it with my wife. (Katamari Damacy is her favorite game of all time.) I have read a lot of good things about it - and understand that it is one of the Wii's true hidden gems - and I am looking forward to trying it out.

No problem. Grab an S-video cable for your new Saturn. It will make the sprites extra "crisp", and it definitely the way to go with that system.

The sticker will be rare to find in used copies, I was lucky to find two different kinds. The game is interesting, the music has Katamari inspiration in it. The best feature is Classic Controller support! I'm getting ahead of my review but imagine playing an Arcade Stick with this. :D
