What I REALLY didn't understand about that show was the redesign of Daisy. I mean 3 kids it made "some sense" to turn them into teenagers. But the Daisy redesign? While keeping old grumpy lovable Donald? (which was good, but I said Daisy was pointless)Menegrothx wrote:What do you guys think of the 90s, rad-ified version of Duck Tales?

Strong, intelligent and independent female role model who has to put up with her substandard goofball boyfriend/husband sounds very reminiscent of the sitcoms of that era.ZeroAX wrote: What I REALLY didn't understand about that show was the redesign of Daisy. Lots of the mentions in this thread have brought back waves of nostalgia for me. Completely forgot about awesome shows like Bots Master and Biker Mice From Mars.
I think the only shows I used to watch the crap out of that havnt been mentioned already are:
Samurai Pizza Cats
The Tick
Ren & Stimpy
Mighty Max
Sailor Moon
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs
WILDC.A.T.S
My 4 year old loves the retro cartoon channel. Cant get enough Garfield and Friends, Gem and the Holograms and Looney Tunes.
I also went through a phase were I watched Pro-Stars and made sure to eat the Pro-Star cereal at the same time

I probably would've never remembered Fantastic Max but now that you mention it, I always thought that show was fucking weird (I may have been too young to actually comprehend it though).

You resurrected some pretty awful theme-song memories with that picture.

I guess I'm just older than a lot here.prfsnl_gmr wrote:In any event, I read through the enitre thread, and Breetai is apparently the only other person here who remembers Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears (i.e., the show that started the "Disney Afternoon" but is now largely forgotten):

I am also suprised that there is not more love for Darkwing Duck...considering how well most of us regard the NES game.
Finally, my wife and both fondly remember "The Flight of Dragons":

Are we the only ones? It was never really released on DVD, but we are tempted to have Amazon press a copy for our children to enjoy.
I looked up The Flight of Dragons and I do recall it, but not very well. It's slightly too old for me to have got into.
I guess I could have listed Teddy Ruxpin. Also, My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake (hey, I had two younger sisters!).
One bit one I forgot to mention was Astroyboy. How could I forget that?

Might Max
This thing is sooooo every 90s "rad" cliche.

I'm not sure if I actually liked this as a kid, or if I just liked the toys (YES, I know they are Polly Pockets for boys) so much I watched the show cause of them.
I had this and I loved it

Mighty Orbots
Loved it as a kid since it was a transforming/melding robot team. A few years later I saw a few episodes on video tape. Was not good. That intro doesn't look too bad, but the show wasn't nearly that quality.
