More fun facts: Key provisions in the affordable health care act are intended to force insurers to lower their costs through competition. Insurance markets and being able to buy plans from companies across state lines will break defacto monopolies. That's a good thing for consumers.
Not saying that the law is going to work but it is the first thing that has been done to address the incredible amount of money we taxpayers are ALREADY paying for other people's exorbitant healthcare. A little preventative care and actual competition in the insurance marketplace could go a long way.

It is a good sign that you think things through from a variety of angles. Glad to see you siding with the proponents on this one, as I don't really think I understand the counter-arguments very well and even well articulated opposition seems to have little substantive merit.
