And hopefully you already know I love funny terrible movies that aren't 100% stupid and super sloppy. I still think GALAXY QUEST is a perfect Saturday/stay in bed/cure a hangover movie. Every character, although shallow, is likeable, and good GOD I don't think Weaver has ever looked better on film.

Dangit! How'd I miss GALAXY QUEST? Came out in '99. Such a good movie. So fun.

Yup, 100 percent. I saw them in person at work. They kinda added this metallic effect to the blue background, but it doesn't really help any.

Please tell me they're in a 3-pack with a better cover.

There's this older release. From what I understand, the new ones are just a cheap cash-in repack too. No new transfers or anything.

I don't even like the films and this irks me.

Surely (insert AIRPLANE joke) there are tons of bright and wide eyed kids who could have designed something better than whatever Columbia is trying to pass off. Big step back on the package design.

I haven't watched it in a while, but I definitely agree.

For some reason, teachers here LOVED to show that movie in school.

Probably because it's such a great (and PG-rated) movie.

Galaxy Quest is awesome. The 90's were filled with awesome/awesomely bad action movies though! Cliffhanger, Under Siege, Speed, Goldeneye, Starship Troopers, Con Air, Last Action Hero... And I like The Rock.

Only one of those I've seen was Goldeneye, and it was pretty sweet! I don't really watch movies that often, the only real reason I watched that one was because of Rare's famous tie-in game.

You should really watch Galaxy Quest. I hate Star Trek and Tim Allen and even I have to admit that it's badass.
