This new 3DS has to be a fake
Re: This new 3DS has to be a fake
I don't think Nintendo really supported the Circle Pad Pro to begin with. It was something Capcom was behind because they wanted it for Monster Hunter Tri and it kind of snow balled from there. But it has barely been released, only a few games can use it and Nintendo doesn't even really talk about it.

That's irrelevant.dreamcast4ever83 wrote:The price is higher depending on which one you get.
There is a bundle that is the same launch price as the 3DS, which was what you were arguing against. While you you can get small Vita memory sticks for as cheap as $16 right now, you only need them to save PSN downloadable games/save, as many (but not all) card-based game saves are stored on the cards themselves. So yes, you most likely will need to pick up a card, but it isn't absolutely requisite to play the system as you suggest. It's an accessory you'll need to have access to certain games. Besides, most 3DS owners will need to pick up something larger than a 2GB SD card, I'd venture.
tldr: Stop bitching that Sony's launch pricing is so far out of whack with Nintendo's when it demonstrably isn't true.

To put this thread back on track, do you think N didn't do a full upgrade to the 3DS (adding the second circle pad and extra set of shoulder buttons), because it could essential be a Wii U Gamepad mini?

I know it's possible, but you do need to own both at once, so you can't trade one in for another directly.ninjainspandex wrote:im a 3ds ambassador how would i transfer all my ambassador games to the dsxl? nintendos DRM is just silly

Wait, this thing is matte finish?
Oh that's awesome...seriously glossy handhelds are one of the stupidiest ideas to ever make it to the market. But at $200? It's a good deal in general but I'll wait a few years, plus there will be more colors then too.

According to Nintendo's Facebook page, the 3DS XL is including a AC Charger and a 4gb Memory stick!
WOOT! all for $199, totally worth it.

Look we can debate all we want but fact is 3ds is more simple and price efficient and sony could have gave more for less. After the ps2 they decided to make there systems do everything and more concentration on media then games which yanked the price up.
They have fantastic exclusive game's and im a fan of the ps3 i have one and love it but they could do more for the gamers.
One thing i do like is the free psn network which was nice but when your chargeing 700 for a game system you gotta get something free

I think they didn't do it because they don't want new games that would then be unplayable on the older 3DS models because of their controls. They're between a rock and a hard place, make the hardware better and deal with people complaining that their old 3DS is now useless or don't upgrade it and deal with complaints about the shortcomings of their design.xan_racketBOY_fan wrote:Thank you.dsheinem wrote:Stop bitching that Sony's launch pricing is so far out of whack with Nintendo's when it demonstrably isn't true.

I really wish there would be another circle pad, but I really don't think they're going to ever do it.

Or because they don't think a second analog stick is necessary. They had several years with the DS to decide if a second analog stick was needed. Clearly they don't think so.Gunstar Green wrote:I think they didn't do it because they don't want new games that would then be unplayable on the older 3DS models because of their controls.
