Words can not even begin to describe how cool that is! I wish I would've thought of something like that for my wedding. Congrats and best of luck to you! 8)
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Thanks for all the compliments guys! Yes, all of the donor games were various sports titles since, we were able to pick them up for .99 each at a local store. We had to make sure that there were no stupid EA games as their carts are taller and didnt match the rest.

Our wedding is going to have a lot of video game touches, pics will be posted for sure, but yeah, its pretty awesome having someone who wants to have a video game themed wedding.

That is awesome. Congrats on the wedding too, mine is in November. Sadly my invites wont look like that, but the groomsmen gifts are videogame related.

AMAZING! Holy smokes!

I love "...as they put a quarter into life's greatest co-op game... MARRIAGE!" Absolutely fantastic.

If I got something like this in the mail I'd flip.

Are you going to do a lot of gaming jokes as part of the ceremony? I've heard of people playing Final Fantasy victory themes after they're pronounced married, and there's a plethora of gaming-themed wedding cakes to view on the internet. Since the invitations alone have so much detail, I can't imagine your ceremony and reception aren't going to be similarly thought through. If so, please film it and share with us on YouTube, kthnx. :P

My husband and I walked up and down the aisle to a piano arrangement from OCRemix that only one other person recognized as a gaming tune. It was like our secret easter egg.

EDIT: Also, at PAX East this year, some guy proposed to his girlfriend at a Q&A panel and read this awesome gaming poem he'd written for her. You aren't that guy, are you?

No that was not me proposing at PAX, I did it at Disney Land under the fireworks in front of a ton of people.

Our wedding will have a lot of video game themes and such. The music for when she walks down the aisle will be the music from zelda when you are selecting your save game (that light harp music). There will be plenty of other things, and you can be sure they will be posted up here after the wedding.
