What was the last movie you've seen?

Inglorious Basterds
Enjoyed this one a lot. It has all the over-the-top violence and little touches that make a Tarantino film what it is.
Totally didn't expect the Nazi high command to die at the end of the movie. I didn't realize Tarantino was willing to change history that much.

I think it'd be a cool way to link the movies together and all, but my issue with it is timeframe. Has there been enough time between the movies for the character to age that much?

I've heard a few fan theories about JGL and the bat suit, but I don't know how crazy i'd be about that idea... It depends on context and execution and whatnot.

'Course we have, what, 3-4 weeks or so to go? I'm sure the first round of press screenings and early reviews should hit any moment now...

Well from what I hear a lot of DKRises will take place something like 10 years after The Dark Knight, which I think was a couple years after Begins, if I'm not mistaken.

So that kid could have grown, maybe the Blake character is supposed to be in his early to mid 20s or something.

Makes you heart glad, doesn't it?

Hey Michi!

Have you seen BRING ME THE HEAD OF ALFREDO GARCIA ?

I think everyone here would enjoy it, but I can see you absolutely loving it.

On second thought, I know everyone here would enjoy it. Go see it if you haven't guys.

Kid still seems too young for that to me. If that kid was a teenager, I could probably see it. Plus there's the fact that he really looks nothing like JGL.

I liked it. Don't think he'll ever be able to top Zissou for me though.

Man, this movie kicked ass. Miles ahead of any wire-fu martial arts movie. I do think it's always a bit disrespectful when they take such great creative liberties with real-world source material, but they gotta sell tickets somehow and on the whole it definitely made the movie better.

+1.

For the longest time, Jet Li's Fist of Legend was the 'bar' for Martial Arts films, for me. After watching Ip Man, the bar has been raised. Considerably. I <3 Donnie Yen.
