Okami coming to PS3!

Okami is one of the most gorgeous games I've ever played, definitely one that should really shine with a resolution upgrade. Sad to see it's looking like a digital-only release for NA/EU though.

This has me wonder: does Sony USA have some rule that retail-releases of HD upgrades must be sold in packs of two at a minimum or something?

I only ask because the HD version of Beyond Good and Evil was digital only as well.

Sony USA tends to have rules around releases that suck. There was a period where they didn't allow 2D games because it didn't show off the PS1's power, and I think they have requirements that there is a US vocal track for disc releases on the PS3.

Sweet!! Anyone that hasn't picked up this classic yet needs to play this game. The artwork is just amazing and it's one of the most stylistic games I have played.

this is Japanese done right trying to prove the world what Japanese developers "used" to be great at doing. Capcom, you did a good thing here, but can you stop with the whole Westernization strategy and just continue to do something you are actually good at doing?!

This applies to all Japanese developers out there. What happened to the fire? Where are the games?! Serve us great sushi, because we love em!

I'm pretty sure Capcom has always strongly targeted the west. There's a reason Resident Evil takes place in America.

I personally want to get a sequel made. (I'm not counting Okamiden)

Also, I see no reason to get it on PS3 when I could just as eaily get it on PS2 or Wii. (IGN seal and all!!)
