So what have you guys been watching lately?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Also, I dont know if you're watching on netflix, but it has a butchered version of the pilot. Id try to track the 58 minute version down online or buy it on dvd.

And 70s show was great for the first few seasons. I can easily see how you could dislike it if you caught a season 7 episode or something.

Yeah, those later seasons weren't nearly as good.

I saw Breaking Bad's first season at Walmart, so I picked it up. Let's see how good it really is...

At the same time I also bough Pych season one. I've already loved that show for a long time, but never bought any DVDs.

I just finished the first season myself. I wouldn't say it lives up to the hype based on what I've seen so far, not even close. However, I definitely enjoyed that first season. All seven episodes of it are good. So there's consistency, which is good. It's easy to follow too, compared to something like Fringe with its crazy, mind bending, Sci Fi, or Game of Thrones with its fifty million characters.

Right now, I'd say the best shows on TV for me personally are Nikita and Game of Thrones, but maybe I'll hand that title to Breaking Bad after I see more of it.

Yeah, that's how I feel about House. It's well written, but it's the curse of the procedural shows. Too much repetition in episode structure.

Season 1 already has me hooked for sure. Is season 2 even better? I'm thinking about ordering it off Amazon tonight.

Does it really matter? There's only one episode that I would consider contentious (in the entire series) and I happen to like "Fly".

I don't know if I'd say better, but it moves the story along in ways that make sense and keeps up the same level of quality. There is a greater sense of suspense I'd say though in the first couple of episodes in season 2

I still won't go so far as to say it's the best show on TV yet, as so many people like to do. Not for my particular tastes anyway, but It's very good though. I'm certainly hooked and planning on watching the remaining seasons. I'm in for the long haul

Episode 3 of season 2 has a really nice climax, probably my favorite episode so far. The whole episode just plays out so perfectly

Apparently I've exhausted Netflix's reserve of watchable TV shows... I'll probably end up re-watching Breaking Bad to ease the wait for Season 5

Also, found a crew member re-watching Always Sunny:
