What shmup are you playing now?

DoDonPachi: Resurrection. Arrived in the mail today and I popped it in the 360 just to "test" it. Ended up playing for like 45 minutes. Great game, though I don't seem to be very good at it (then again, I didn't read the instructions yet

). I'm itching to play again but I want to finish one of my summer challenge games first.

Urban Uprising: Dark New World. It kind of reminds me of a vertically scrolling R-Type that focuses on upgrades for you options and bullet hell. I love it very much. http://www.interq.or.jp/saturn/takuhama/Shooting4.html Oh yeah, did I mention it's freeware?

I'll be playing a whole mess of classics tomorrow on my monthly arcade excursion tomorrow, and I'll be reporting the scores.

I've been at those two as well. No luck either yet.

I am playing SOMETHING today - I really want to focus on just one something though.

What are you feeling, Chaz? Ra.De or Gekirindan?

I'm game for Deathsmiles or Trizeal as well, but I need to focus on one game this weekend.

Hmm... Gekirindan sounds pretty good to me! Wouldn't mind grinding down on that one today. I wish I had a better port/board of this one though, playing it without TATE kinda stinks.

I'm always down for some Cave goodness though (Ra.De being my only Cave game now, when I once had over a dozen

)

I traded my F3 Gekirindan board when it lost out as the SotM back in January...totally regretting it :/

Maybe i'll do a bit of Ra.De now and then some Geki in bed tonight.

Do we have a Ra.De thread yet? Noise / fvgazi / others...this one plays pretty well in MAME iirc, join us?
