Things you are addicted to.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

That's kinda sad. I'm surprised you're the first person in this thread to admit to being addicted to cigarettes though, because I know we have plenty more smokers here.

My grandfather used to do the whole "I'll keep smoking until I die from it" thing until dying from it became a very real possibility. He quit pretty quickly after that.

Various family members I've had have tried so hard to do this. One got cut off because she couldn't drive to buy them, along with many others being forced not to by the doctor.

My great grandfather lived to be 96, and smoked right up to the day they put him into the hospital. He didn't believe in smoking in hospitals, it was bad for the babies.

Also, historical documentaries (or conspiracy ones). I fall asleep to that stuff at night lots. I watch quite a few retro game review shows, too.
This is pretty much me too.

My turn I guess.

Video games (buying, collecting, playing, researching)
Anime/manga
Booze
Internet
Women

As for cigarettes, I was a heavy smoker for about 3 or 4 years and was able to drop it like nothing. I've always said, it's just a matter of whether or not you actually want to stop smoking. Maybe it's different for "life-time" smokers or something but I didn't experience any withdrawals or anything. I thought about buying a pack for a few days after my last cig and that was the extent of my quitting process.

I quit smoking back in November. I do have an addiction to mountain dew though. I go through a 24 case in two days. Currently working on cutting back. I am addicted to buying games, researching them, and then never playing them. I have been trying to play more games then I buy but I am failing at it. Also Godzilla.

I had a friend that was like that with Coke. He quit cold turkey at one point. I like soda way too much too, but on a typical workday I probably average 2 cans.

I feel sick if I drink more than 2 cans of soda, and my teeth feel like they will fall out.
