Racketboy Steam Group

Post by andymol21 »

Just bought The Orange Box and so installed Steam on my system for the first time. I know there are a couple of Steam users on the forums so I thought we should have a group dedicated to this site. I have set one up for anyone to join, the address is:

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/racketboy

I thought it might be nice to have some organised events, kill the people who "flamed" you on the forum :P . Anyway join up if you want, I'll make reputable people that I recognise from the site Admins. Should be fun!

(P.S. Racket, I used your avatar as the image for the group, hope your ok with that, if not then tell me and I'll change it.)

I borrowed a friend's account for a while but there was never anyone online that I knew when I wanted to play. I played the one mod game for half life, and I made an airplane by placing a single thruster on the bottom of an airboat.

Well, with th group I'd hope we would be able to organise set times to play games. Then at least some people would be online.

Wow, what a coincidence! I was about to buy either Counter Strike Source and/or The Orange Box this weekend! I hope to enjoy some games with the community in the near future.

Hm, that's a neat idea.
Isn't there a co-op Half-Life 1 mod called Sven Co-op? Maybe we could organize a big co-op play through, haven't played that game much in ages.

Wow, that does sound good, I have to admit I've never completed Half Life. I have tried so many times, even bought the PS2 version just to be able to, but it ended up being all in French! I'm just downloading that mod now.
