Things you are addicted to.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

But they have to be the PIECES. NOT NIBBLERS. The nibblers have barely any flavoring in them and are otherwise useless.
I used to like the Garlic ones, but they don't make them any more :(

When I finally click that Planescape: Torment (or what ever) icon on the desktop or fire up a console and start making some progress, I get the sudden urge to check if I've got any new email or if there are some new posts on a thread I'm following.

Oh and soda, I drink way too much of it. Cant enjoy a nice meal if I'm drinking water or if I'm not playing/watching something at the same time. Too bad soda is so unhealthy. I could buy a couple games a week more if I I would switch to plain old water, not to mention the huge health and dental care savings it will make over the years (+living a longer, healthier life). If I have to move to my own appartment and start living on my own next fall (applied to an university), I will finally truly understand all the anime where otaku chracters starve so they can buy doujinshi, SNES games  Hell, I'd already be doing that if I didn't live at my parent's house. Either that or I will have to live with emulators, pirating and a lot smaller collection growth rate for years
All of this. Piracy it's not so bad when you get used to it
Soda... this specific brand

Checking the mail. Seriously, every morning I listen for the mailman, then when he's here, I watch him from my window and the second he drives off I go and check the mail. Which kind of makes me sound a little weird...

Sprite. I love water and everything but sometimes it's nice to have something with a little more flavor. Since caffeine makes me feel like ass and I don't have many other options, I drink the hell out of some Sprite.

Video games. Playing/buying/selling/trading/talking about/shopping online for/hunting in the wild for/cleaning/organizing, etc. video games.

That last one reminded me of...

Organizing/cleaning/throwing shit away.

Isnt that what all game collectors do? :) What's better than opening the mail box and seeing a nice thick letter with a game inside of it?
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

I do all those except anime, and girls because I'm too shy. Flavored Snyder's pretzels are pretty dang good. So much better than generic brand plain mini pretzel sticks.

But nothing beats a fresh pretzel.

Ok my real list:

- long-distance running (though I never race anymore)
- video gaming (mostly retro and mostly JRPGs)
- music, collecting CDs and vinyl (mostly black metal and 1990s DIY hardcore)
- anime & manga

I used to be a voracious reader (like 70 books/year) but I've cut back on that quite a bit. I was very politically active about five years ago, but now I'm more of a rural recluse/crazy farmer.

Man do I ever need to catch up on reading. Was never 70 books a near but at one point, probably 40ish. Crazy recluse/farmer? I envy.
