Why does the US get ripped on so much?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'm just showing a little humility in front of a genius.
Even if he said you don't have the greatest video game collection?
I'd let it slide so long as he at least acknowledged my copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga as being impressive.

Oh, so its okay for you to insult my intelligence and the intelligence of 90% of the people I know, along with forcing poor stereotypes on all of us, and think its made okay by just turning around and saying you like some of it?
No offense, dude, but Stephen Hawking is at least twice as smart as most people in Texas, and most people in every other state as well.

The guy is probably developing the sequel on his wheel chair's computer. I think he'll hardly be impressed.

I'm pretty sure that Stephen Hawkings is smarter than me. But that doesn't mean that anyone should lord the fact over me. Just because he more than likely is doesn't make it okay for people to give sweeping generalizations based on it.

You're not making a lot of sense here. First of all, if you take busomjack seriously, you're already making a mistake. Second, if Stephen Hawking is smarter than you, why not just accept it as a fact of life and move on? I'll freely admit he's smarter than me, and I have no problem with it. Better yet, why not take it as we should take all criticism: make yourself better for it rather than just get angry and yell at people for stating the truth.

And I am pretty sure that Zimbabwe and Saint Kitts and Nevis are more bankrupt than us, yet people always think of us when they hear the word :'(

Its a matter of respect. Just because you can, doesn't neccesarily mean you should. I doubt I'm making my point well, but I can't currently think of a situation to compare it to.

Actually freedom of speech kind of means that...unless you are driving someone into depression or suicide I guess. I don't know, I'm not a lawyer LOL
