No, it's not. Not at all.
I think you missed the ongoing joke from the previous page...

When did videogames become so scary? You were probable in the same room as Sinistar, dumbass! =p

Also, Sinistar must be in this movie or I will be a sad panda.ç

Q*Bert and a slew of high profile video game villains make this awesome. Awesome that they didn't take the cheap way out and create stand-ins.

This looks awesome, been wondering where they were going to go with it since the teaser. Glad to see they are paying homage to actual classic game characters too.

This is the sort of adventure I always imagined as a child.

I've got to see this film.

Your fear is with merit. The jokes didn't make me laugh a bit, but it does look gorgeous. It is a short teaser, and I can't see the Pixar folks not making something memorable with this cast.

Time will tell, but they already have my money; I'm going opening day for sure.
this isn't a pixar film, it's disney animation, the same folks that recently made stuff like meet the robinsons, bolt, tangled, chicken little... stuff like that. while it probably won't have that same pixar charm (which has been sadly absent in recent years, imo), i still think it'll be a worthwhile movie and probably the only other CG animated film this studio has done that i'll enjoy (meet the robinsons being the other).
