What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

There is a lot more to the article, I just retyped the list itself, so you may want to visit the article after work hours.

This guys schtick is very "dude bro", but he plays the crowd like a piano. Stand-up rule #1 connect with the audience, and he hits it out of the park.

Smile: They are filming Iron Man 3 about an hour and a half away from my house.

Smile: A friend of a friend may be able to get me at least into the studio (super ultra doubtful, but no venture...

Frown: I have yet to devise my plan on how and why I would like to visit the studio (I'm sure thousands of people are trying to get in, as the building has been blocked with Google type security).

Now if I can find a zip line and some chloroform...

ANNOYED: I'm currently waging war against the squirrels in my attic. I'll have to get back up in there later this week and set some traps.

ENRAGED: Phone and internet at my house are dead for about the 8th time since I moved in. Called FairPoint last night, they are useless.

You exterminate them, right? In Mass, it's illegal to catch/release them.

Catch and release them Bone. If the squirrel police catch you, Scout's Honor, I will pay the fine.

I've also been waging war on squirrels in my own way. I have two "squirrel proof" bird feeders, with at times up to seven squirrels trying to take all the seeds. I don't mind the squirrels getting a seed or two, but they are complete hogs who scare off the birds, except for one. There is one bad ass blue jay that simply doesn't play nice. Gorgeous bird at that.

Anyway, I have a bb gun that literally doesn't have enough power to pop a mylar balloon but the bb's sure do sting. I must have had at least 100 shots connect by now, but those bastards are relentless. Now I usually just cock the gun, and the sound is enough to get them to scurry, but the little rodents are getting hip to my ruse.

The worst is when I actually connect with a squirrel and then the bastard goes right back to the feeder. I want to deter the buggers without killing them. I'm thinking about setting a few traps, marking the squirrels with krylon, and seeing if they return.

...and here we are rehabilitating a squirrel at my house...

it's pretty healthy and getting big, probably time to reintroduce it to the wild soon...
