I went outside with an Arc welding helmet. The sun can be seen, but too small to spot Venus without a telescope. A neat feeling to go out and try though, to be alive for this. The average human only lives to around 70 so imagine how many miss this. Interesting Stellar events have been happening in my lifetime.

1. Halley's Comet
2. Jupiter Comet Crash
3. Venus Eclipse Transit Sun
4. Mayan Calendar in December, Planets align?

That's why we need to invest more money in cybernetics. I plan to live forever by constantly replacing parts of my body as they start to fail.

We missed this in Seattle because of the lovely overcast Seattle weather.

 I plan to stick around and burden my kids, a revenge for all the diaper changes.

I went back out and got one last view with the Arc Welding helmet. This time cleaned off all the film buildup on the lens. I think I saw Venus at roughly 2:30 position, really not much to see just a tiny dot. The thought of how rare an occurrence, I need a set of those cybernetic eyes.

More stuff that happened in my lifetime.

5. Year 2000
6. Moon landing
7. Voyager Launch, think of that gold record discovered eons from now across the universe
