E3 on T.V.
If you're watching E3 on T.V. this year, are you watching it on Spike T.V. or G4? Who do you think looks like they're gonna have better coverage? I'm asking because it looks like Spike's coverage is actually gonna rival G4's this year when in past year's it was just a once aired special from Spike.
I'm gonna stick to G4's coverage just because I've never been a fan of Game Trailers T.V. Too boring and dry for me, there's no personality in the show. So I'd assume their coverage of E3 is gonna be a lot of the same.
That is unless someone knows something I don't. Has either channel promised us exclusive game coverage or anything?

Re: E3 on T.V.
From what I understand, Nintendo's stuff is only on Spike this year. Its also a possibility Microsoft is still exclusive to Spike, if you are interested in those.
Otherwise, I'd be watching G4, but I have a prior engagement to deal with.

Re: E3 on T.V.
I've got both set to record.
The Nintendo conference will only be aired on Spike. And G4 is showing the Microsoft conference, just way later in the day.
G4 is also the only channel airing the Sony and Ubisoft conferences. Though I usually let those record so I can skip through them (especially the Ubisoft one ... and all the sales talk in Sony's conferences)
G4 will likely have better floor coverage though. Spike isn't even airing anything on Wednesday.
Also, G4 isn't in HD unless you have Comcast ... so ... if I have to choose between the two increasingly annoying broadcasts ... I'd choose the Spike one.

I'm pretty sure I'll get the G4 broadcast in HD, and I'm on AT&T. But, your point still stands. Anyway, I'll be watching the Microsoft conference (whoop-de-do...) at 12:30 today, and then the Sony one at 9 PM. I'll be skipping Ubi's conference, too. I can't imagine what I'd miss there except for potential news on that Rayman Origins sequel. As for the EA conference, I will take every possible measure to ENSURE I will miss it.Cronozilla wrote:I've got both set to record.

Anyone know a good place to stream E3 live in HD that isnt Gametrailers? The quality is not HD enough for me.

As far as I'm concerned, E3 hasn't started yet because MS's conference is always so boring and uneventful.lisalover1 wrote:I'm pretty sure I'll get the G4 broadcast in HD, and I'm on AT&T. And why do you want to skip EA's conference? It's not 2006 anymore, EA actually makes decent games these days.

Microsoft always does a good job of sobering my expectations for the rest of E3; I'm glad they go first, in that respect.BoringSupreez wrote:As far as I'm concerned, E3 hasn't started yet because MS's conference is always so boring and uneventful.lisalover1 wrote:I'm pretty sure I'll get the G4 broadcast in HD, and I'm on AT&T. As for EA, I just don't like them one bit as a company.

Capcom is so terrible lately that EA just can't get a rise out of me.lisalover1 wrote:As for EA, I just don't like them one bit as a company.

Re: E3 on T.V.
Capcom has seen the quickest drop in quality that I have ever seen in a game company. It's really just shocking. But, in my opinion, they would really have to go out of their way to be as vile as EA.BoringSupreez wrote:Capcom is so terrible lately that EA just can't get a rise out of me.lisalover1 wrote:As for EA, I just don't like them one bit as a company.
Also, who watched the advertisements Microsoft conference today? They only showed like, 6 games, tops, and almost none of them were new reveals.
