Craigslist first, eBay second, that's my rule.
Actually, garage sales come first if possible... you can find some good video game bargains for dirt cheap. Old Nintendos, Dreamcasts, bundles of games for $1. Found MGS1 for $1, sold it for $20 on eBay. I even started the auction at 99 cents, so it's not like I was looking to rip anyone off.
