Students and teachers: what are you going to do this summer?

I'm going to go after a second job, first of all. In June, I'll be helping with a VBS for a week, and then until August or September I'll just be derping about, I suppose. What will you be up to?

I'm teaching summer school!

Mostly it's for kids who had a really tough time in math during the school year. I might have a couple ESL kids too.

Finishing things up for getting my liscense, getting a job, and going to state FFA convention. Its in Chorpus Christi this year. Oh yeah, nothing gets me hotter than a blond blue eyed girl on the beach... wearing FFA official dress.

During the summer I go back and work for my hometown's parks and rec (I used to lifeguard, teach lessons (trained the instructors too) and manage the local pool in HS and college) to help run a camp for middle school kids there. We give them boaters ed and a boating licence, teach them to drive a PWC, water ski, go kayaking, canoeing, and mountain biking.
I would like a break from middle school kids, but taking a kid water skiing who lives in public housing and may never get the chance any other way is awesome. Plus the kids love the camp so there are no behavior problems.

Taking a month of summer school in June (just one class: Spiritual Tradition - East vs. West) and then going back to work at Valley Farms until early-mid September.

I'll be going to Western Washington to take part in an intership for a congressional candidate there for a month, learn about how campaigns work and such. After that, I'll just relax and prepare for my third year at college.
