Doesn't help that his PC isn't powerful enough for anything made in the last 8 years besides doujin games. And not even powerful enough for some doujin games.

Hope noise does get into doujin shmups. Some great ones available.

Speaking of which... I'm not sure how powerful your computer is, but may I suggest the Witcher 2 for 360? It's a pretty linear game, although not completely, and has more depth than one might think.

However, I don't know how you might like the combat, and as I have burned into everybody on racketboy, its aggrivating to understand the story at first.

I posted on the other board when I finally got a 360 as well. I bought it at ebay for like 150 shipped if I remember correctly. It came with the kinect which I later sold for 80 dollars, so that brought it down to 70 dollars for slim model in a box that was only used a dozen times. Games are dirt cheap on the 360 as well and I'm loving it just as much as my other consoles.

so I signed up for Gold... at least for a month. There was a promo going on (it was on the Dashboard, so maybe because I'm a new user?) to get the first month for $1 and I can cancel before next month. So I figured for $1 it was worth checking out for a month.
