I laughed at calling Sin City "style over substance" but including Hellboy 2. I mean, what?

Mine probably goes:
1. Tank Girl
2. The Dark Knight
3. A History of Violence
4. Ghost World
5. Sin City
6. Weird Science
7. X2
8. Batman (1966)

There are no other good comic book movies, unless I include animated ones, and then Mask of the Phantasm makes #9 for traumatizing me as a child. As for "superhero" movies, that's a silly distinction and we argue in circles all day over whether Arnold Schwarzenegger deserves to be included if The Punisher is.

Wow, I had no idea Oldboy was based on a manga. That's my #1.

Cool thread. *(luke TMNT III? really? i'd have thought 1 fo sho)

1. Superman (1978)/The Dark Knight - seriously it is an ongoing fight for #1. I know they're radically different, but for a long time I thought Supes was the best ever, then I watched The Dark Knight a few times.. so its really a tossup for me.
2. The Avengers
3. Iron Man
4. Spider-man 2
5. Captain America
6. X-men 2
7. The Incredible Hulk
8. Kick-Ass
9. Mystery Men
10. Flash Gordon

Honestly, the first 5 are definitely in order, but the last 5 could be in any order. I love them all equally. And an honorable mention should go to OldBoy, but only because it's pretty different from the comic, from what I've heard (never read it). Otherwise, it'd probably be in the top 5. That is seriously a great revenge film.

Nobody likes Tank Girl because it's good.

Well, I fooled at least one person.

That was my not top ten list. It would take me hours upon hours to create a respectable list.
