If there is no blue handicapped sign and just the wheelchair painted on the ground it's ok to park there. The ADA states that there has to be a sign not just the thing painted on the ground. I park in the fire lane though it's always closer than handicapped parking anyway.Luke wrote: correcting derelicts who misuse handicapped parking spots.

Apparently Wasteland had an EA-developed sequel called Fountain of Dreams in which you try to find the namesake fountain which may be your only hope of curing the mutations you are inflicted as time goes by. Sounds cool? Well, it's not that the game was bad received, you can tell it's pretty bad just by looking at the few availble videos, a shame because I really liked the premise.
However there's a third game using the same engine called "Escape from Hell" which is a pretty funny CRPG about, well, escaping hell. I'm reading a "Let's play" and five minutes in Stalin joins your party

I don't think pepsi is the problem, but rather operator error. Mouth, not nose and you'll be good.o.pwuaioc wrote:Hobie, we need to talk about your coke pepsi addiction...Hobie-wan wrote:Why do I have blood in my right nostril?

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
What's the deal with everyone posting FUCKING GIGANTIC images in the past week?
A 3320 × 2540 image that is 2.7 megs (nor others in the same range) is not kind to mobile users and seriously screws up viewing the forum. There have been a lot of these huge pictures posted recently. There was a 9 meg image posted at one point too.
I think the K filesize is a little low in the rules and as long as it is under a few hundred K generally it doesn't seem to be a problem. For threads dedicated to images a little wider is to be expected too, but FFS people. If you want to post something huge, at least spoiler it and note it is a big picture so mobile people can choose to view it or not and it doesn't make reading ever post on that page a pain in the ass.

Be sure to follow all rules in the “Offensive Content” section above
Unless otherwise stated, if you post an image in the forums, please keep the image size under 50K.
t is also appreciated if the images isn’t so wide that it breaks the format of the page. (500 pixels wide or less should work)

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Most forums automatically resize or reject images that are too large. In fact, I think this is the only one I've ever used that doesn't. I know it's not built on a standard like Invision or VBulletin, but it's something I never would have considered if it hadn't been pointed out (by you.)
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Actually images are automatically resized on my phone. But I never noticed that until the mobile version happened, so I assumed that was just an added feature, but evidently not? Idk.sabrage wrote:Most forums automatically resize or reject images that are too large. In fact, I think this is the only one I've ever used that doesn't. Re: Random Thoughts Thread
It was just me testing if those showed up in the search function. For some reason I wasn't sure if it would. It did so I edited it out. Phase two of my plan will commence shortly.sabrage wrote:Went to quote you...
