Bone Claws!

In all seriousness, Origins wasn't original. Now this may or may not work, but a Wolverine Origin movie that focused very little on Wolverine could work. Hear me out.

Take more of a Captain America movie style approach, but with less focusing on the main character. Focus more on the doctors/scientists/government, and people behind project X, with maybe one (Professor X) or two cameos (possibly Sabretooth*) tops.

Ya know, not try to throw in as many characters as possible and focus on the actual creation. End the movie after he is created, or spend the third act in Mapoor, or wherever he exiled to in Asia after he flipped his lid a little.

*F-you spell check, it's spelled sabretooth.

Well the next movie is supposed to deal with that asian story, so at least they'll get that part down. I really have no confidence that it will be any better than origins now that Aronofsky isn't involved, but we'll see.

Meh, it's Wolverine. He's never been a very deep character. The movie was more about the action, which was done well. Do you watch Schwartzenegger or Stallone movies for their deep plots? You should take Wolverine the same way.

The movies everyone loves with Schwartzenegger and Stallone in them actually DO have a lot going for them story-wise.

But at the same time, their plots are simplistic. Wolverine was overstuffed and convoluted.

But now I'm seriously thinking: Wolverine Vs. Predator.

You need to think before you post. Seriously, you think Wolverine's story is "meh" and shallow?

"Meh, it's Wolverine".

You think the GREEN LANTERN movie is great, but the Wolverine comic story line/arc is "meh" and doesn't present character development?

Dude. This goes way beyond "people like what they like" to complete ignorance. In your history of being wrong on a scale of 1 to 10 , this is a ten.

Just the dialogue of

"Logan?"

"Your name is Logan?"

"No one ever asked."

is better than any line in any X-men movie.

I am taking back my rocker, as you are officially off yours. (I like you, but Christ you are soooo wrong about this)

Most people love him for the fighter he is. He's vicious and loves to brawl and his enemies reflect that. That's what I meant.

And his history is a complete mystery (well until House of M at least). Of course that's cool at first because you get to explore that, unless it's Wolverine because it took him 35 years for any of his history pre-Alpha Flight to be exposed.

I guess because I'm a big comic fan, I've been MORE than over-exposed to Wolverine (Marvel's #1 money-whore) so maybe I just see him different. I just take him as a brawler, action over story type character.

Just wanted to point out, also, that I was talking about X-Men Origins: Wolverine, not the comic storyline like you were saying.

So now we shouldn't complain because dumb movies are acceptable? I'm sorry but I want my action flicks to have some sort of story I CARE FOR.

Origins had awful action scenes anyways. The only worthwhile part was the opening credits. Do I really need to explain why Origins isn't up there with Schwarzenegger or Stallone's best? They aren't playing the same sport, much less the same league.
