Really? In order for you to "get" the character's back story you had to see him staying at an old folk's place?
Not to mention the retcon with sabretooth (going from beast who didn't even trade a word with him in X1 to his brother? :S)
What are you talking about? This was about Wolverine's origin being in 2 X-Men movies. What does any of this have to do with that?
And I don't have to "get" anything. X-Men Origins: Wolverine was Wolverine's full origin story while X2 only offered us glimpses into Wolverine's past, not even close to a full origin story.
And you actually prefer the mindless Sabretooth to the one that resembled the actual comic book character? Wow.
It's been way too long since I've seen X-2 to really critique it, but suffice it to say I learned everything I needed to about Wolverine's provenance and Origins did absolutely nothing to improve on that mythos. I mean, even my mom thought that movie blew, and my mom watches a lot of Lifetime movies.

@BurningDoom
I was talking about the fact that the movie had a lot of filler (like Wolverine staying at that old people's house). No I did not say I prefer him, what I said is that it is stupid to change the character so much when the movies are in the same "reality".
We didn't need an entire movie to tell us about the small details of wolverine's life, cause they aren't interesting.

Hold your horses! Lifetime is responsible for some of the most ridiculously over the top funny movies I have ever laid eyes on. I'm also a fan of the Lifetime Movie Network.
BD, I doubt Zero was trying to get your goat.
Origins is really dumb though. Wolverine boxing, with gloves. Somehow they made Deadpool uninteresting. And the cgi...woof.
OK, my mom watches Lifetime movies and never laughs.
I saw the new Spider-Man trailer before The Dictator Wednesday night (I fell asleep, if you were wondering about it) and I remembered how much I loathe Andrew Garfield, his Jean-Ralphio haircut, and his stupid giraffe neck. But I didn't like Tobey much either.
The details in Wolverine: Origins weren't interesting because it was poorly written, cheesy, boring, stupid, etc. A proper wolverine origin movie could have been cool. X2 did only scratch the surface, and there was a lot of potential. I agree with the bizarre Xmen movie timeline though. They're all completely inconsistent.
