Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I really enjoy using this older ThinkPad. I wish it could play modern games competently. Sure I have my gaming PC but it'd be nice to just have a laptop that could do everything. It's a shame laptops don't have upgradability like desktops do...

That's why I've always been a desktop user. When I get a PC, I'm likely to be using it for 5 years (and then a few more afterwards as a backup) so upgradability is important to me.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong. I absolutely love my desktop. There's just something I've really really loved about using a ThinkPad since I was a kid. The utilitarian design and high quality build is just irresistible for me. In my honest opinion, they're some of the best looking computers around.

I know they do but I can't remember what it was called. Rumor is they are releasing a galaxy s3 sometime this year if you google it there are some supposedly leaked pictures of it and it does have a slide out qwerty.

I'd love to be able to get a smartphone, but there is no way in hell I could justify spending that much money each month. The fact that plans continue to just get more expensive makes me want to take my old cellphone and just throw it in the ocean.

Except, that would probably make the dolphins cry.

It's dead over in my neck of the woods. Shitty weather + increasingly apathetic people is not a good combination for that sort of thing.

Whole thing got co-opted by rich white liberals anyway.
