A new member complaining about things about this forum that irritate them won't end well.
As a guideline, it is recommended that you search for existing threads before creating a new one. And you never know when someone who promises they'll never return to the forum does, multiple times.
The past year or so I've been waking up about ten minutes before the alarm goes off. It has its advantages and disadvantages.
alarm songs: what's good to wake you up in the morning?

Okay.
For a member who very, very rarely posts and also rarely adds anything to the conversation, complaining about things about this forum that irritate them won't end well.

If I heard that I think I would get up, get dressed, take the alarm clock, go to a heavily populated area, place the alarm clock down on the floor, kill everyone in the vicinity, tell the alarm clock that it's their fault, and kill myself.Hazerd wrote:

so yeah... since someone dug up this old bag o' bones...
i have been waking up to vivaldi's "four seasons" for the past several months. puts me in a good mood.
but really, any noise would wake me up. it's just a matter of deciding what mood i wanna wake up in, ya know?

Do you guys have fairly standard iHome-style alarms? I use a shrill mid-late 90's clock radio from hell to wake up in the morning, because the alarm doesn't stop until I get up and make it stop. It has a radio setting, but as far as specific songs I'd have to leave my computer on for the duration of my sleeping.
