And whats with the John Ralphio haircut, man? And I still can't get past the spider-jellies.
I haven't abandoned all hope, but every shot in the trailer has some goofy looking cgi, and I've been told it's already gone through post-pro.

I've seen enough cgi spidey swinging around, enough cgi spidey getting beat up, etc. Someone like John Woo should make a Spidey film that's full of harness effects. Make it actually seem like a character is actually Spider-Man and not just shitty cgi and camera tricks from the 1920's (seriously, people can tell when you just turn the camera upside down).

A cgi spidey in a cgi world does nothing for me. And what drives me nuts is that when Spidey movies actually do use harness effects, it is usually when it's Parker just being Parker.

The first two Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies were everything I could have wanted in Spider-Man movies.

I liked Spider-Man as a kid, but I'm not really a superhero fan anymore. And I especially don't want to watch high school angst from the director of (500) Days of Summer. While I don't expect it to be a bad movie like Spider-Man 3 was, it's not something I really care about watching.

Styrofoam sets, Macy Grey in a parade, and a villain that looked nearly identical to Jet Jaguar?

I'll admit to loving the WTC Trailer, and I even liked Spider-Man 2 straight out of the theater, but they haven't aged well.

I remember I paid to go see the Final Fantasy movie to watch that trailer.

I thought they were fantastic movies, as well. It made me happy that we waited through all those legal battles over the movie rights to Spider-Man, because in the end it was much better than it ever could have been in the 80s or 90s.

My only complaint was how Power Rangery The Green Goblin looked. He's supposed to be Spider-Man's greatest enemy, not someone that when you look at them you aren't sure whether to take them seriously or not. Luckily William DaFoe's acting made me look past all that.

"At 1:34 Connors says:
If you want the truth about your parents, Peter, come and get it.

It's worth noting that this before he transforms, so he has interactions with Peter about "the secret" fairly early in the narrative."

He looks like his skin is messed up in that scene. I don't think the fact that he's not the lizard means that it's early in the movie. Seems to me his lizard form is going to be an on again off again situation, with him possibly injecting himself when he wants to transform, and maybe eventually getting to the point where he ends up stuck like that.

As far as the special effects, when I saw the first trailer with the first person view, I thought it looked cheesy and fake. But when I saw the same trailer at the theater, it was really impressive.

That's what I was talking about.

I think i would have enjoyed the first movie more if it actually was Jet Jaguar

Personally, I feel that the only original trilogy movie worth it's salt is #2. I am really excited for Amazing. I'll give you that harness effects would be better, and he does have the Ralfio hair and the Cera disposition. But hey, at least he seems to be joking around this time!

Agreed.

It has every opportunity to be a great movie, but it's just so weird to me that I have no interest in seeing this. I have plenty of longboxes full of Amazing, Web of, Spider-Man, Spectacular, 2099, and I forget the other titles.

I love me some Spidey, but so far this trailer only tells me there's a new Sipdey movie out, with a twist! It's going to take some A-list writing to make this worth seeing.

how many more times do you guys think the spider man trilogy will be re-made in the next 25 years, and woulnt it be cool if they had a telivision drama about it? have they ever had a tv series with real people for spiderman, and wouldnt it be cool if mary jane became spider woman? who is spider woman anyway.
