Share some of your best gaming screen shots
Re: Share one of your best gaming screen shots
Here is the lovely-in-its-simplicity Superbrothers; Sword & Sworcery EP. I'm so glad this came to PC because I have no interest in owning an iPad or iPhone, but I always loved the pixelated style of this game whenever I saw screenshots. Sword & Sworcery glows with style and uses its pixels economically, so not a single one goes wasted.

I have nothing to contribute to this thread, JT, but I'd just like you to know that I think it's a great idea and I'm really enjoying all your screenshots.

I have been a little worried since I was the only one posting there for awhile, but I could see the view counts growing for the thread and just assumed that there are a lot of lurkers and few contributors, which is fine.

From Alice: Madness Returns, a shot of the Carpenter and the Walrus.

(photo taken during in-game cut scene)
From Lewis Carroll's "Through The Looking Glass":
"I like the Walrus best," said Alice, "because you see he was a little sorry for the poor oysters."
"He ate more than the Carpenter, though," said Tweedledee.
"You see he held his handkerchief in front, so that the Carpenter couldn't count how many he took: contrariwise."
"That was mean!" Alice said indignantly. "Then I like the Carpenter best—if he didn't eat so many as the Walrus."
"But he ate as many as he could get," said Tweedledum.
This was a puzzler. After a pause, Alice began, "Well! They were both very unpleasant characters—"

This reminds me of Out of this World/Another World and some other Amiga game which name I forgot. And the economical use of pixels makes me think of the demoscene FPS game .kkriegerJ T wrote: Superbrothers; Sword & Sworcery EP

Re: Share one of your best gaming screen shots
This is my personal favorite. I know it's not an actual screenshot (I took a picture of the screen with my phone), but it was the last race of the circuit (obviously, since it's Rainbow Road), I HAD to get first to win the cup, and it was 150 cc. My friend Grant and I were playing together. It was a glorious victory.

Ah, double dash. I believe I got all firsts in the all cup tour a few times. The hours I've spent on that game.
