Glenn Fabry. His Preacher and Hellblazer covers are legendary.

I'm really enjoying that book. Aside from having a cool Western vibe and focusing on DC's Western type characters, it's tying heavily into the Batman mythology. It's even included in the Night of Owls crossover event that is taking the Bat verse by storm right now.Forlorn Drifter wrote:I'm not too big on the names and all- I just find covers I like. The only artist I truly know I like though has to be Moritat.

I love any kind of western comic. All of them. I really like the Jonah Hex character, though I would prefer if they kept him a bit further away from Batman. I like how they are pulling him in, but I'm slightly dissapointed they can't have him just doin' his thing out in the west.

This one is kind of a poor example, but Don Rosa's comics at times have great cover art, usually taken straight from the actual comic. I love his style and attention to detail, the humor and all the epic adventures
It's great how both Don Rosa and Carl Barks do/did research on different countries, their history and mythology before making their comics.
Don Martin of MAD is/was another American cartoonist whose style I really like.

I freaking love that poster! Everytime I'm looking through the comic that contains it (with a Hologram cover), I'm so tempted to tear it out of there and hang it up.sevin0seven wrote:Mark Bagley
