RIP MCA

Post by Luke »

Feel free to move this to the music thread.

But damn. Dead at 47.

The Beasties Boys have been very influential in my life, and have always been one of my (if not my favorite) bands. Every concert was astonishing, every CD amazing.

An awesome human being as well. Myself, as well as many fans, family members, and charities will miss him.

Time to watch AWESOME I FUCKING SHOT THAT

Now thats a shame. I listened to the Beastie Boys on the way to work today. 3 year battle with cancer is a helluva way to go.

I am a big Beastie Boys fan, a friend called me this morning to tell me, while it wasn't a massive surprise (He had been fighting cancer for awhile), it was still a massive hit to the system.

Ill Communication will always be one of my favorite albums of all times, one of the first CD's I ever bought.

I love the Beasties and I love MCA.

RIP Adam Yauch, MCA and Nathaniel Hornblower.
