Han Solo fanfic without a Wookiee and with Summer Glau
Most things get better if you replace element X with Summer Glau.
If you want a canceled series I guess...

Since folks are giving Ds flak for applauding his own quote about the over abundance of Joss Whedon worship in the 21st century, I shall applaud it to show my approval.

Though I believe JJ Abrams worship is worse.

Joss Whedon would probably handle the series better than Lucas has...

...then again there's Alien Resurrection to consider...

I want to blame Jean-Pierre Jeunet for that one.

Damn, that movie was so awful. I'd take the AvP's over it.

Lucas is a hack. He kinda gets a pass for creating the whole thing but he's a shitty director. the only good films he directed were A New Hope and THX1138. I have a really hard time believing he would ever have anything to do with a "small, independent" picture. He just needs to shovel in money too badly.

I think Whedon would be good for this. But it would never happen.

All I care is for the original, unfucked up trilogy. Also, why is this guy so well-known?

People hating on Joss Whedon? That´s hilarious. The man rules and knows his stuff.
Firefly is without a doubt the best sci fi series EVA. People that say otherwise have not seen it or are blind Star Trek fanboys. He could handle Star Wars. But he can do better things than Star Wars. Star Wars is so childish.
