alarm songs: what's good to wake you up in the morning?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Lately, ever since a few Saturdays ago when every team in the NHL was playing, I've been waking up to the Hockey Night in Canada theme. I'll probably be changing it soon since it's starting to piss off my wife.

For the longest time before that I used Rilo Kiley - Meaning of All Things to wake up to.

I guess you could wake up to the Thunder Force IV soundtrack

But the best solution is to have your dog wake you up. If you don't have a dog, you're missing out. They lick you playfully rather than waking you up with a super irritating sound that starts every single day in a bad mood.

Yeah, I hate alarm clocks.

When I had a dog, he woke me by barking incessantly. You know what that was?

A super irritating sound that started every single day in a bad mood.

Just sayin'.

I guess some dogs are more polite than others. But there's no such thing as a polite alarm clock :D

I don't like gravedigging threads, usually a lot of the people who posted in the thread before are no longer members, so it just gets on my nerves, I mean, we're talking to inactive people. makes no sense.

I was under the impression that the mods would rather we revive dead threads than generate new, redundant ones. Duplicate threads are legitimately annoying from a searcher's perspective, and usually wind up getting merged anyway.

Well, I'd better get busy deleting posts by anyone who hasn't logged in to the forum in 6 months then eh? And nobody uses any old TVs or other electronics so nobody should care about any tech questions that have been answered but are old. Opinions about old games? I mean who plays that shit anymore? Also, gotta remember to kill everyone when I leave a group of people having a conversation on the street. I don't want them continuing the conversation with any ideas I left behind. I mean I won't be able to know what they're continuing to talk about, so why should they be able to? Bastards!

Hmm maybe I should ban everyone before I go to bed or head out for groceries and unban then when I am logged back in later too.
