Well, it isn't quite Toonami but Cartoon network has launched a show Fridays at 8pm with hosts Brak and Zorak to host "Cartoon Planet". A show that will feature some newer canceled/ended cartoon network shows.

Features the following shows:

Dexter's Laboratory
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Johnny Bravo
The Powerpuff Girls
Cow and Chicken
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
Ed, Edd n Eddy
Chowder
Camp Lazlo
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Codename: Kids Next Door
I Am Weasel
Evil Con Carne

Is it true that they're making another season of Courage the Cowardly Dog? I forget where I heard that now, but I remember someone talking about it recently. That was a dark show.

Yes, they had it confirmed. I just really don't know when it was supposed to start up. Despite how dark it was and how creepy it seemed to me at times, I FUCKING LOVED that show. Still can't get enough. It has moments that are extremely random along with the occasional 'Dafuq did I just see?' moment, but was otherwise amazing. I personally love the one with the space squids.

That actually started up last week or maybe the week before. I was mostly excited to see Fosters back, that show was awesome. KND and Dexter being on regularly is cool too; but the rest have all been on here and there. Powerpuff Girls is on every night on Boomerang for example.

I think I remember seeing Fosters last weekend, thought it had been a while since I saw that on CN. Didn't realize till this week it was part of a block of shows. This program is nice for those that don't have boomerang (I wish I did).

That video was hilarious! The look on the guy's face when he was playing the golf and FPS games at the same time. If some one didn't realize that was a complete joke... I bet I know people I can send that to and it'll trick.

Also, I like when you click on "Try Multitask Mode" and it gives you a reflection of your mouse arrow.

Fixed. Although, I Am Weasel can be absolutely retarded. It's great though with the right people.

I seriously need to find more friends into weird stuff.

not sure how many people have seen this already but the ratings came in, and a response from a PR person over at cartoon network/Adult swim. Also looks like on of the head people from Toonami is now a VP of Cartoon Network.

I'd say it's not a miracle whatsoever - Adult Swim themselves have been on Twitter actively promoting it. And with good reason, too - I was up all night, along with many others, tweeting and chatting and generally going nuts. I know when I saw "Ryoko" as a trending topic, a nerve was definitely struck.

Now, you may ask yourself, "why didn't Brian cover this question last week?" The answer is simple - I wanted to wait until the ratings came in! And they just did! And they were - not bad. Not great, but, not bad. On the whole, the ratings are slightly-better-than-average for their Saturday nights of anime - and what's encouraging about that is that the "viewer attrition" was pretty slight, even towards the end of the night. Usually, you can expect the viewership to drop by increasing percentages throughout the night as it gets later - meanwhile, even Yū Yū Hakusho, which aired at something like 4 in the morning, managed to pull in around 700,000 viewers, which isn't a terrible drop of eyeballs from Dragon Ball Z's high of nearly 1 million viewers. That's certainly much better than the 400,000 who tuned in to a rerun of InuYasha the previous week.

Of course, those numbers are just rough estimates, and more importantly, they're total viewers. For Adult Swim, the important thing is always demographics. Specifically, that luscious and juicy 18-34 male demo. I have no idea what the actual demographic breakdown is, but either way, the numbers were encouraging enough to make Adult Swim at least ask people on Twitter to gauge interest. I think that speaks volumes, myself.

not to bad for something that not even announced a head of time.

My thoughts EXACTLY.

I'm surprised Sheep in the Big City didn't make the cut. Actually, I can't even remember if I liked that show or not...

Oh well, I don't have cable anyhow.
