"Shmup" is far more elegant!

- I own a lot of Shmups but I really don't enjoy any of them other then Gradius and R-Type. I still keep buying them. Same goes for most Fighters.

- I quit half way through Majora's Mask, Windwaker, SOTN and FFVII.

- I've never played: Jet Grind Radio, Sonic CD... or roughly 50% of the games I own.

If you like those, you might dig Darius Gaiden and G-Darius. They have that same classic feel. The older Darius games are nice, but perhaps a bit too old school. :)

Have you played Life Force/Salamander and the Parodius games?

I once gave away my entire video game collection to friends because I was planning on committing suicide. Then when I failed (after trying to OD on pills), the only system I ever got back was my Sega Saturn because my parents were so pissed about it, since they bought it for me for Christmas, that they called my friends' parents and then drove to their house to get the Saturn and games back. I never did ask for my other stuff back from my friends. But I am glad that my parents got my Saturn back :)

Wow... Good thing this is the confessions thread. I guess I only usually look at the first page when sales threads get bumped.

Not sure how to respond... glad you got your Saturn back? Was this since joining Racketboy?

I guess it's time to come out of the closet. I LOVE the Sonic R soundtrack

...super sonic racing.... aaaaaah that 90s cheese....

Anyway:

-I buy games and sell them for less money without even getting to the half point if I don't fall in love with it.
-I have never been proficient at a genre other than platformers.
-I SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK at Street Fighter, but it's the only fighting game I actually enjoy.
-I had an amazing collection of gamecube games which I sold cause I am a moron.
-I have never beaten a single game on my PS2
-I had only beaten a single game on my PSP before I sold it (Megaman Maverick Hunter X), and that was on easy mode
-I am bored of new video games, and end up selling them or forcing myself to beat them.
-It takes me about 6-9 months to finish a JRPG even if I LOVE it.
-I prefer replaying games I have already played so I can relive past life memories of how my life was when I first played a specific game

Found the Ultima 0-IX collection for $.50 in the wild and sold it so I could buy a bunch of airplane games.

Hmm, that might have been worth it
