Smile: I bought the Megaman Robot Master Field Manual today. It's really neat! Perfect bathroom reader.
What is this glorious item and where may it be found, my good knight? My quest doth begin...
Yes, inform us of this mythical tome at once, good sir.

Just the RMs, or Wily's other creations as well (final stage bosses, various Wily capsules, MM killers, Quint, etc)?

The tome, good sirs.

It's produced by Udon and it's essentially a mini guide to defeating every Megaman robot. It also has new artwork, bios, and a lot of fan service. It's cheap enough to be an impulse buy, too. Freaking awesome.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

:) : Found Kid Icarus: Uprising CIB at Goodwill today for $20. The version that comes with the stand, even.

:x : Found out why it was at Goodwill once I got home and examined it more closely. One of the contacts is damaged. I'm gonna have to return it.

Eeeugh if I had a job or more than $10 laying around I'd get that... but I really want the KIU guide, and Barnes&Noble has it on sale for $12.50 instead of the usual $20. In addition to the collectible benefits of the guide itself and being able to track down every Souflee, it comes with three exclusive AR cards: Exotank, Dark Pit (Flying), and
Hades
Yeah, even the name of a card is worth putting in spoiler tags.

I never understood the appeal of using a debit card. To me, it's a lose-lose situation for a consumer. Why not use the credit card for all purchases and pay the balance every month?

Plus, you can get money back in forms of points, gift cards, etc since most have rewards.
Yeah, because using money you actually have is a totally bad idea.
Note the bolded part in the quote. I pay off my balance every month. Have never paid interest in 20+ years.

There are a number of disadvantages with debit cards as compared to credit cards. Of course, if you're not financially savvy and carry a balance on your credit card, then yes, debit is the way to go. What puzzles me is why people can't be savvy with credit cards if they're able to do so with debit cards?

Are they too stupid to know what the current balance is and ensure that it's within their budget?
In many places, laws protect the consumer from fraud much less than with a credit card. While the holder of a credit card is legally responsible for only a minimal amount of a fraudulent transaction made with a credit card, which is often waived by the bank, the consumer may be held liable for hundreds of dollars, or even the entire value of fraudulent debit transactions. Because debit cards allow funds to be immediately transferred from an account when making a purchase, the consumer also has a shorter time (usually just two days) to report such fraud to the bank in order to be eligible for such a waiver with a debit card and recover the lost funds,[7] whereas with a credit card, this time may be up to 60 days, and the transactions are removed without losing any credit. A thief who obtains or clones a debit card along with its PIN may be able to clean out the consumer's bank account, and the consumer will have no recourse.

As an active MMJ patient, I think it's stupid to have a day dedicated to it as well, especially when the day supposedly comes from time of day California school system let out at some point.

That said, happy not-a-real holiday everybody!
