What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Until today, my wife worked for Wise Snacks for the past 5 years. I think I probably put on a pound or two a year in chips...

Yeah, she gave her two weeks earlier this month as she was just increasingly fed up at how the office environment kept changing over time (she did accounting work). It was a long time coming. So, now she's now unemployed but (for now) happy to be out...she's working with a temp agency though, which has always been very useful in the past for leading to permanent jobs.Stark wrote:So is that filed under smile??dsheinem wrote:Until today, my wife worked for Wise Snacks for the past 5 years. Frown my dog Tito just hurt his leg pretty bad playing in the yard. He was running and our other digg rolled him. He let out a little yelp and I thought it was the dog that flipped him but soon as he got up the other dog dropped trying to play and Tito started to run around then yelped even louder this time. Poor guy. It doesn't help that he's a stupid breed either as he's pitbull Boston terrier and mastiff. He's the one on the right fox on the left is the one that flipped him.

I never understood the appeal of using a debit card. To me, it's a lose-lose situation for a consumer. Why not use the credit card for all purchases and pay the balance every month?BoneSnapDeez wrote:The fact that I use my debit card about 5-6 times a week but only use my credit card maybe once a month (and when I do I'm likely on the 'net and typing the numbers as opposed to swiping the physical card).
Plus, you can get money back in forms of points, gift cards, etc since most have rewards.

Yeah, because using money you actually have is a totally bad idea.gtmtnbiker wrote:I never understood the appeal of using a debit card. To me, it's a lose-lose situation for a consumer.
