Wow, lol. Well that's good to know... I'll have to change his setup around then. I do have Sharla now though and it's obvious she's more of a magic user, so I'll probably transfer most of those to her.

I did all the available Colony 9 quests and all the available Bionis Leg quests and I found myself super OP for the next 3 or 4 areas. Just a warning. I've switched to only doing time-limited quests until later in the game for that reason.
11 hours in and I already feel like this too, lol. I'm level 21 and going along the story "path" itself the enemies I'm fighting right now seem to usually be 14-17 or something and I just destroy them.

If these numbers are correct, the game here has already almost outsold it's numbers from Japan:

Damn, I really should have preordered. Mine came without the artbook.

Those are quite a bit lower than what I was expecting from the estimated preorders. I wonder if those include the copies from NoA...?

You can view scans of the art book here: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 96#p596396

The scans don't really do the book justice, but it's better than nothing.

I'm fairly certain that VGCharts makes up their numbers on the spot.

If I win the lottery today then I'll buy everyone on the site a game of their choice. Oh by the way, I don't buy tickets.

Don't hold your breath on the VGChartz numbers. Over time they tend to have some value as corrections are made based on other sources, and they can be interesting talking points... but "accurate" or "correct" aren't words you should ever use to describe their estimates.

That said, here's hoping the game is selling well. Maybe Nintendo will realize that a bit of publicity and a quality game can actually push units - even when released on a console that has been on the gaming equivalent of life support for over a year.

Mine arrived yesterday. I'm really not all that happy with ordering from Nintendo.

I bought the game as a gift so had I went with gamestop I would have an art book to give as well. And I would have had the game on release day!

During the Nintendo checkout process there was no indication (at least for me) what the cost of shipping does; seriously, it was "$5, $10, $15" as your shipping options...no estimated delivery dates, no processing time, no nothing. I just went with the cheapest shipping option thinking that it would be like 5 business days in transit (at the most)... I was wrong. It wasn't until several days after the release date that my order status finally reached "Pending".

So much for showing Nintendo support.

If I had to do it over again, I'd rather give GameStop a two dollar profit on a new game sale...

ditto...

to add insult to injury, the game is a bit underwhelming so far. It seems like a Japanese take on a WRPG, and it isn't near as good (again, so far) as many WRPGs have been in recent years...
