So what have you guys been watching lately?

I think the story is nice.I am very interested in this style of TV series. :D
Of all the shows I currently watch, Nikita is my favorite. That show just does everything right.
Really? Over Game of Thrones?
For me personally, yes. I can't say why exactly. It may simply be more to my tastes than Game of Thrones, but I think both shows are excellent.

I think I feel more invested in the characters on Nikita, while Game of Thrones focuses more so on political intrigue than characters and frankly, GoT has so many characters it gets hard to keep track sometimes. Plus, I like Nikita's faster pace. Game of Thrones just likes to take its time moving through a story, not that there is anything wrong with that. That's not really a criticism, but I like how recent Nikita episodes always have something major happen. Nikita is one of the few shows on tv that never seems to have filler episodes. The writers like to just get to the point, get to the conflict, get to the resolution, get to the climax. Never a wasted scene. Plus, the action quotient is high on Nikita. Again, I'm not saying a show has to have constant action, but Nikita does action so well it's hard not to appreciate it.

They're both great, just different types of shows and Nikita appeals to me a bit more.

Hmm, I may have to see if there is a way for me to stream it.

Tonight's episode of SOUTH PARK (bullying is bad) was great. Trey and Matt once again hit the nail on the head.

Catch it on the SP site tomorrow if you missed it.

You still like South Park? It seems most everyone I see online who watches the show thinks this latest season hasn't been up to par.

I think it's been ok. The jewelry episode was hilarious. But the easter episode was just dumb.

Finished Season 2 of the Sopranos, moving onto Season 3.

Also watching Red Sox games. Have been enjoying my new HTPC with Ceton tuner.

You are hanging out with the wrong people online then.

The "meme" episode fell flat on me, but this season has been solid. "Cash for Gold" nearly had me in tears, but I don't watch the show only for laughs. Matt and Trey's social commentary has almost always been 100% dead on, and I always look forward to see what topic they'll take on next. They have captured the zeitgeist of my generation, and have done so with relative ease.

edit* I'm still laughing from last nights "jacking it in San Diego" song.

I don't watch much TV. Mostly the news and crime dramas. I've been watching a lot of Criminal Minds, I really like that show.

I keep trying to get into Community, but I just find that show incredibly boring. It seems like a show that is trying way too hard to be clever.

I also caught a recent South Park episode called Reverse Cowgirl and the whole episode fell flat to me. Did I just pick a bad episode or has South Park really lost its edge?

Maybe it's just me, I feel like I'm just not into these smug shows that try so hard to be clever anymore. I still dig Futurama though. I really want to see some more episodes from that show. I'm also getting more into Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. Now those shows make me laugh. I loved the Blitz episode with Jorge Garcia.

"Aaaaaaw Man"

So that's sort of where I'm at with comedy shows right now. Any really good ones I'm missing out on?
